It was fun to get a chance to read and review this book before it releases on October 4. I've always enjoyed Mercedes Lackey, and especially her Valdemar books. This book is another excellent story from a great storyteller. Here's my review:
Fast-paced and exciting conclusion to the Herald Spy trilogy. A great new mystery to challenge Mags and his circle. Great to see both Mags and Amily develop further in their roles for Valdemar, building their networks, and growing in confidence. Mercedes Lackey provided clues to the mystery along the way, so I had figured out the basics about who was causing so much chaos in Haven this time, but the final explanation was perfectly handled and very satisfying.
